Debenhams Competition

Today debenhams manchester and a lady from their head office came in to talk to us. They have an amazing oppertunity for us. They are inconjuntion with ben de lisi, and they are going to review all of are graduate collections and pick the three they like best. They will then be in the window of debenhams and the public will vote for who they want to win and the winner will get a space alongside their other designers in the stors to have their collection up. We can then sell them off as one of pieces or take orders for them but i just think that is an amazing oppertunity to get our work and our name out their. An they also said they are going to help us for a month and give us all the resources we need to get to where we want to be!! I am defintaley going to push for this and get on top of everything as i owuld love the chance to be picked for this. And fortunately unlike other competition briefs its not extra work its already the work we are working on! I think it excited me so much as theres a real chance of been picked as it is only our university and year group in the competition its like a 1 in 35 chance of winning!
