Tutorial

This week i took with me the top i toiled to accompany the trousers and a dress i had started to create working on the stand. The top shaped worked well we agreed and after a long debate of what fabric to do it in the group felt it should be in a soft jersey and create the twisted knot as a seperate piece that sits on top. I am not sure really i dont think that would work as it wont have the stiffness and fullnes from jersey and i just cant imagine it with my trousers. Im going to source some jersey this weke and see what i think whilst i toile the pattern for the top. More unnsuccesfully i was also working on a dress. It was only an hours work so im glad i took it today because speaking to the group i realised how awful it was and not to push foward with it. I was trying to create a dress using the draping style of the top and in my head used the fabric i did because of the stiffness of it it would hold the shape well but it just isnt working at all.
