Internship Oppertunity

This week i recieved an email from Anton last years 1st year tutor. I always thought he was a really good tutor, genuinely interested and would go out of his way and thought it so nice that he thought of me when an internship oppertunity came up. He asked me to forward him my cv as he had been contacted about a couple of highstreet internship oppertunitys. It was good because it gave me a kick up the ass to get my cv sorted sorted, i sent it him at half eleven wednesday night and by ten thursday morning i was contacted by topshop head office with an interview date! Unfortunately the placement is for march and april but the lady was kind enough to consider me for summer placement and said no problem she would interview me nearer the time. It just shows how sometimes its who you know. There wa sno guarentee i would get it but she was willing to interview me off the basis of Anton sugesting me. It showed me how important it is going to be to network and build up my contacts base. Im so excited now at the prospect of interning with topshop unique team and the chance to help out at lfw september!
