Making Outfit one

Because I have made the trousers before i used the same pattern but extended the waist in order to get a wider pleated waist. When i used the princess pleater last time i struggled as there wa sso much fabric going through it kept breaking the needles and i was loosing full rows of gathering then. This time i decided to avoid that by machine stitching lines on a loose tension and wide stitch size securng one end then gathering them by hand the width i need for each quarter of the pants. It was pretty succesful even though the fabric been so slippery.
 Because of this i went off line a couple of times and when i have gathered its not gathering evenly at one side of each quarted so im going to have to loosen the gathers and take the excess out when french seaming.
